Select The Year Of Your Vehicle Below

The Toyota Camry is known as Toyota’s most reliable family car marketed in the US. It also follows Toyota’s convention of naming car models after the word “crown”, such as the iconic Corolla and the lesser-known Carina. First produced in 1982, the Camry gradually gained a foothold in the compact car market, surpassing 200,000 units sold in 1988 and more than a million overall in 1989. The current generation of the Camry, the XV70, was started in 2017 and has sold over 2 million units. In late 2023, the XV80 was introduced, launching the ninth generation of one of Toyota’s emblematic cars.

With the 2025 Toyota Camry, the sole powertrain configuration is a 2.5-liter hybrid inline-four engine. The V6 engine of the previous generation was dropped, making the latest Camry exclusively hybrid. The latest Camry power plant produces an impressive 225 hp and 163 pound-feet of torque for front-wheel drive models. For the all-wheel drive Camry, horsepower is boosted to 232 hp. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) is standard for all Camry models.

Toyota Camry Standard Features

The 2025 Toyota Camry LE comes standard with automatic air-conditioning, an 8-inch multimedia touchscreen, six-speaker audio, and a fabric seat trim. Upgrading to the XSE trim for about $6,000 gets you heated front power seats, a heated leather steering wheel, leather shift knob, and a leather seat trim. The entertainment system also gets an upgrade with a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen and six JBL speakers. The standard 16-inch silver-finished wheels are also enhanced to 19-inch smoke gray-and-black aluminum alloy wheels.

Is the Toyota Camry Good on Gas?

While the Prius is the go-to Toyota hybrid vehicle in terms of gas mileage, the Camry is not far behind. The 2025 Toyota Camry LE is one of the most fuel-efficient cars in the market, getting 53 mpg city, 50 mpg highway, and 51 mpg combined. Want to make sure your car achieves peak fuel economy numbers? Replace any worn-out spark plugs and religiously follow oil-change intervals.
